This Privacy Policy describes how Float Translator for macOS (the Application) handles information. The Application is provided by Guanghui Liang (the Service Provider).
Information handled by the Application
Translation content
Text that you ask the Application to translate is sent to the Service Provider’s translation service so the requested translation can be returned. Do not submit confidential or sensitive text that you do not want processed by a network service.
App and device information
To operate the translation service, deliver configuration, apply usage limits, and prevent abuse, the Application sends its version, build number, macOS version, and an encrypted device identifier with service requests. The Application also records a basic launch event through Firebase Analytics.
Purchases and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple. Subscription status and an app-specific customer identifier are managed through RevenueCat so the Application can determine which features are available to you. The Service Provider does not receive your complete payment-card details.
Information stored on your Mac
Translation history, preferences, shortcut settings, onboarding state, and local free-use counters are stored on your Mac. Dictionary lookups use dictionaries available through macOS. Removing the Application may not automatically remove every preference stored by macOS.
Screenshot and text-selection features
Screenshot translation requires macOS Screen Recording permission. The Application captures the screen region you choose, excludes its own windows where supported, and uses Apple Vision to recognize text. The recognized text is then handled like other translation content when you confirm a translation.
Text-selection translation requires macOS Accessibility permission so the Application can read the text currently selected in another app. These permissions can be changed at any time in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
Information we do not request
The Application does not request precise location data, contacts, photos-library access, or microphone access for its current translation features.

Retention and deletion
Local translation history can be removed from within the Application. For questions about server-side records or a deletion request, contact the Service Provider at meetguanghuiliang@gmail.com. Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, financial reporting, or legal compliance.
Children
The Application is not directed to children under 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact the Service Provider so appropriate action can be taken.
Security
The Service Provider uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No network transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the Application or its service providers change. The updated date at the top of this page will show when the latest revision took effect.
